Why does my Fender guitar amp have a maximum volume of 12 rather than 10? Does it have a 12 step attenuator?
I have been asked about why my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe goes up to 12 and I’m sure it has nothing to do with Spinal Tap!

It’s just the knob. You could put 1 to 100 on there and it wouldn’t change anything.
