Whats the best game system to buy if I want to get guitar hero or rock band?

I want to buy Guitar Hero or Rock Band but I dont have a party system. Should I get a 360 or PS3 or PS2? Or if you have any other suggestions please tell me. I just want something cheap and could buy, that will be used economically.

    I recommened the Xbox 360
    game quality is very good and it works really well
    Ps2 and PS 3 r not as good as the 360 and even if u get tired of the Rockbands or Guitar Heroes there r other REALLY good games out there
    just make sure u dnt play to long or it kinda overheats (minor) and prolly they(Microsoft) fixed it. Sony has the same Overheating (PS 2 and PS3) problem but u get the overheat for the PS 2 and PS 3 much quicker like in the matter of 6 months

    I have had the Guitar Hero for the Wii and the PS2. I have to say i am pretty impressed by the Wii. It is a little bit more on the expensive, but the graphics are nice and there are some good songs. If you are beginner at Guitar Hero/Rockband I would but Guitar hero. Rockband is pretty hard.

    i say a 360. not only does it look better, but other games for the 360 tend to be more fun as well. :)
