What are the best portable speakers for my MP3 player.?

I have a Sirius MP3 player and will be purchasing the home kit while on vacation. I will not have a stereo with me but I would like to listen to music being broadcast. I can use AC or batteries for power, passive power would also work. I need inexpensive portable speakers that can be heard in a hotel room with the AC running.

You could use an inexpensive set of PC speakers plugged into the headphone jack.
There’s these little speakers at radio shack for 20 dollars. They are amplified and run off AA batteries. They sound pretty good too.
