Is the Ibanez GSR100EX Bass Guitar a good one?

It’s $180 at Guitar Center and I wanted to buy it. I was wondering if I’d be able to play most songs with bass on the guitar because it’s so cheap.
Most of the time when something’s cheap it usually isn’t good so I was just wondering.

Ibanez is a very good brand name in my opinion,they have great sound and sustain.thats what I started with now Ive been grandfathered to a Gibson which of coarse is a lot more expensive.But I still have a soft spot in my hear for Ibanez,don’t be afraid,they make a great sounding guitar/bass and they are a very sturdy well built brand.Great bang for the buck.good luck,practice hard and keep on a rockin.
Well no, not particularly. However, at that price range, it’s generally LESS junky than its competitors. I notice that GC has the Yamaha RBX170 on sale for $129. You might want to consider that one instead, and put the other fifty bucks toward an amp upgrade. Either way, you need to upgrade to a Fender Standard P-Bass when you can put together $549.
