Of course not! Unless you live in China, or Cuba, or a country that can ban web-sites within it’s legal framework.
Now, the web-site in question might contain content which might be copyrighted and by downloading and using that content you *might* be breaking the law; but, your use of the web-site, even if it involves downloading copyrighted works, probably falls under Fair Use anyways.
Next time someone tells you that it’s illegal to do this or that, just tell them that “it’s for the courts to decide,” and get it over with.
It’s not illegal to visit the site. What is going on with the music industry is that they are complaining about people copying the artists tabs and posting them on the Internet. Which of course the main argument is that they are loosing money. But the way those sites keep going is people post there own versions on the song which then makes it THERE personal work. Not the artist. they also post that those tabs are for personal research and study only…not for resale…etc.
Not really. However, I’m not too familiar with the site and if they do house copyrighted guitar music/chords then you are engaging in illegal activity by visiting the site. However, if the content on the site is readily available to the public, like songs that people have come up with chords on their own for etc… then its ok.
wat??…no….im a member…
