I am looking for a set a small speakers to make my portable player louder, they must be able to play my mp3.?

I have a portable speaker system right now for mp3 player. i have to use a cord to connect the two. I amlooking for small speakers to plug into the portable speakers then plug my mp3 into the small speakers for more sound. I work at an auto plant and the noise is very loud sometimes. If you have any suggestions it would be great.

Hey my kid just got a pair from Radio Shack and the work great on his mp3, ipod and cd walkman. I believe he only paid $20 for them.
they make all sorts of speakers like this. Go to walmart.com and check for yourself
