How do you know when your music equipment/guitar amps are damaged from electricity/joules?
I’ve been looking into surge protectors. What is the likelyhood of my amp blowing out or getting damaged from voltage? How would I know if it’s damaged? Is there a way to check?

To know if your guitar amp is damage is if it doesnt sound the same from before and also if it was damage then i would sound all terrible.
