How do i fix my Guitar Hero drum peddle?

My peddle for guitar hero drums is broken and its real annoying and can someone help me?

How is it broken? Is it snapped, or unresponsive, or what is the problem?
Something similar to that happened to my red drum on my set but I just unscrewed the back off and reattached a messed up wire. I would try tampering with it a little. It doesn’t really look like it has a lot of electrical components so if it doesn’t help I would look online for one you can get seperate.
