the melodies are familiar, but performed so elegantly that they sound fresh. none of the usual overpowering blockbuster wedding-ness, and not at all sappy or cheesy or new-age-y either. we are planning our wedding ceremony to be very simple and very special, and this is the perfect cd!!! all the ‘traditional favorites’, but delicately and gracefully played on guitar. uncommonly beautiful. i must’ve listened to over 100 different wedding music cd’s, and none were quite right. even though i couldnt listen to a preview of this one on amazon, i ordered it anyway, and we love it! now i am sure our ceremony will feel just the way we want it too.
