Belkin Cassette Adapter for iPods, MP3 Players, CD Players, and Laptops
I bought this on a whim, after the FM modulator installed last week had to be removed from my Jetta ’03 because the sound was pathetic. (Really upsettingly bad.) We really did not expect much, but I thought it was worth trying for the prize. I could not be happier! I have no Whirry, clicky to appoint other sounds, unless I’ve turned to me during the adapter is still in the tape deck iPod, and even then not very high. The sound is surprisingly clear and the highs and lows are clean and clear – the terrible experience I had with Unik modulator. I do not know if the quality deteriorates with time, but at $ 12, if you replace occasionally worthwhile. (Much cheaper to replace my car radio and car audio salesguy told me I should have done.) If you have a tape recorder to try. You’ll be surprised.

On the positive side: 1 MedlinePlus This cassette adapter works in my Passat stereo, unlike the Sony adapter that did not. 2 MedlinePlus sound quality and ease of use are better than the iTrip.
the negative side: 1 MedlinePlus Sound quality is abysmal. Bass is almost completely absent. In the mid-dominated, and most high-end is muted. This problem is so severe that compensate for the low setting or midrange / treble can not in my stereo. great as a reference, audio-cassettes in the same stereo in particular. 2 MedlinePlus This cassette adapter is running, both spindles rotate when making turns. This is probably what makes it work in my stereo, but it makes a noise. The end result is a certain mechanical sounds that stand in the way of quiet music.

I’ve gone through these three, I bought two and I as a warranty replacement. Everyone had the same way. You start it, then start gradually more and more mechanical noise. Finally, the noise is so annoying that the unit must be replaced. I give two stars only because, over time, rather than die at once.

The Belkin Cassette Adapter test was my second game of a product that allows me, my iPod through car cassette deck would. The former can not Belkin, product (you say monster here?) Was crap. . . not working properly after two weeks. The Belkin adapter has worked perfectly for 2 + months.

I can use this adapter to audio books on my 2001 Toyota Corolla (which has a tape deck installed in the factory to hear). It worked well, though apparently some other Toyota owners have had some difficulties. I’m glad I did, because otherwise I can not use the radio transmitter adapter, as the San Francisco area has more radio stations.
The sound quality is good for audio books, but there are some clicking and buzzing of the cassette player tried the wheels of this pseudo-cartridge. I imagine that very annoying if you’re listening to music, music.
I think sometimes ejecting the adapter and then insert again change the volume and / or audio quality. It seems sensible, since it is in the cassette player.
