Do you have the new MP3 players and cell phones to children that are worthwhile and fair songs and things. Well, apparently, children are more new cells/mp3 ‘s, etc. If you do not have a cell phone or mp3, is illegal. What do you think?

Cell phones are pointless but I love my iPod, but it doesn’t mean i bring it to school or it’s new (I got it the christmas after iPod nanos came out)
It’s not uncool to not have them it’s stupid to think you are cool because you bought an electronic device
i dnt thiink that if you don’t have a cell or mp3 player doesnt mean ur uncool maybe a bit behind on technology but if you don’t want one then i guess theres no point buying one
I agree. There’s too much emphasis on this sort of stuff. Many people are buying into the brand and consumerist lifestyle rather than the product itself. It’s all about the name for some people.
yeh i think it is stupid how people show off about them. I have both but i use them for my own use and personal use. I don’t bring it to school. I use it for entertainment, not to show off with.
They’re nice to have, but are definitely overrated. Technology is advancing at such a rapid rate that a few years down the road today’s “cool” and “popular” cell phones and i-pods, which people spend hundreds of dollars on, will be obsolete. Like take for example, those new 8gb mini-ipods with screens. Many kids think it is cool to have one, but it’s ONLY 8 gigs…yet is almost as expensive as the older larger ipods that have 80gb. Some people will buy anything name brand no matter how expensive or low quality/memory space it is.
I have a cell phone and mp3 player, but I only use the cell phone when necessary. I think people overuse, misuse, and take today’s technology for granted.
you look at the commercials there every where attracting teens to have cell phone my son even have one but i think it is useful so he can get contact with me if he is going to his friends house or going to the movies or hanging out with friends.
Of course Yes. It is the kids who can milk money from their lovable parents/friends who milk money easily for buying these at fancy prices to meet their growing liking and pleasures
im 14, just got my 1st phone 4 christmas( the juke, so its music & phone) but i was one of the last people in my school 2 get one. although i don’t think kids w/o phones are uncool, when i did not have a cell i felt leftout watching everyone else using theirs, and felt horrible when i always had 2 borrow my friends.(also did not have a ipod so i was always watching people text, calling and listening 2 music on the bus while i just sit there.)
Overrated by far.

Depends if you are into technology or not.
If your one of those people who HAVE to have the new gadgets then they are worth it,if not I would say no.
